On the auspicious occasion of Pahela Boishakh, Royal University of Dhaka was also enlightened with the spirit of its own culture and heritage to celebrate the Bangla New Year 1424. The Orientation Program and Fresher’s Reception for the Spring 2017 Semester was also held on 13 April 2017 in Dhaka campus. The program was presided by Professor Dr. Prafulla C. Sarker, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor (Designate) of RUD. Hon’ble member of the Board of Trustees Mr. Imran Iqbal was the Chief Guest of this jubilant program.
Colonel (Retd) Prof. Md. Mosharrof Hossain, Registrar welcomed the newly admitted students at the campus. Managing Director and Advisor of the Premier Bank Ltd attended the program as Special Guests.
Students from the different departments and few guest artists took part in various cultural activities enthusiastically such as dance, music, recitation, drama and so on. It was a fun-filled and entertaining occasion all along.
Pro Vice Chancellor (Designate), Dean (Acting) and Heads of the Departments spoke on the occasion, All Faculty members, officers, students, some guests and parents were also present in the program.
