Royal University of Dhaka (RUD) founded by Dr. Momtaz Begum is a nonprofit , nonsectarian private university. RUD was established under the Private University Act, 1992 of Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The University Grants Commission (UGC) evaluated and approved the academic programs on July 30, 2003 and the approval of the Ministry of Education, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was accorded on August 30, 2003
