Dr Momtaz Begum Royal University of Dhaka has moved to its dedicated campus at Tejgaon Industrial Area in the capital. On the occasion of inauguration of the permanent campus, a milad and doa mahfil were held at the auditorium of the university building at plot no 404 of the industrial area on Sunday. Dr HBM Iqbal, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Premier Bank Limited, Premier Group Foundation and Dr Momtaz Begum Royal University Trustee Board, presided over the programme. M Imran Iqbal, Vice-Chairman of Dr Momtaz Begum Royal University Trustee Board, Jamal G Ahmed, member of the trustee board, adviser PC Sarker, Jamil Ahmed, registrar of the university, M Reazul Karim, managing director and CEO of Premier Bank, and local councillor Md Safiullah attended the programme as the special guests. Banani Central Jame Mosque imam Abul Kalam Azad conducted the milad and doa mahfil. Teachers, students and officials of the university, officials of Premier Group and Premier Bank were also present in the event.
