Royal University of Dhaka observed the National Mourning Day 2018

Royal University of Dhaka observed the  National Mourning Day and the 43rd death anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with utmost respect and due solemnity. Royal University of Dhaka arranged a day-long elaborated program on 15 August 2018 at Library Auditorium, RUD to mark this occasion.

The program began with the read Quran & Gita. It was followed by special prayer for the salvation and peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and other members of his family who were assassinated on the inauspicious night of 15 August 1975.

Later to marking the life of the Father of the Nation Bangabondhu, a discussion meeting was organized. The Chief Guest of the seminar was Dr. H B M Iqbal, Vice Chairman, BOT and Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Profulla Chandra Sarker was present as Keynote Speaker.

The Seminar was presided by Registrar, Dr. Md. Abdul Hoque Talukder. Dean and Heads of the Departments also spoke on the occasion, All Faculty members, officers, students and some guests were also present in the program.
