Seminar/ Presentations held at Royal University of Dhaka

In order to become successful in a career as a university teacher one should have excellent verbal communication skills, both for lecturing and communicating with colleagues. He/ she should acquire good writing skills, for publishing research and analysis, organizational and time management skills and be able to effectively evaluate student progress. An effective teacher is an excellent communicator and therefore thinks about improving his or her presentation skills. In the classroom, if a teacher cannot communicate with his/ her students in a way that is both comprehensive and interesting, students learning will be greatly reduced. Presentation is a great way for teachers through which they also build self confidence. It is found that teachers who are good presenters are better communicators all round, since they are able to structure and express their ideas clearly. A confident presenter is able to inform and persuade colleagues and students effectively.

Keeping the above facts in view, Royal University Dhaka (RUD) arranged a number of presentations on various topics which were conducted by five (5) Faculty Members of different departments from 16 July to 19 July 2016 at RUD Library.
